Hailing from Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, Worldwide Hospitality Group (WHG) Brand & Marketing Director Scott Hoskins learnt early on the importance of relationship building, spending his formative years immersed in the world of sales and marketing where he experienced exponential progression across the pharmaceutical, real estate and hospitality industries.

In 2014, sitting in his 42nd floor executive office overlooking Sydney’s Darling Harbour as Director of Sales and Marketing for a major international property developer, Scott had an epiphany. Despite the many perks that come with an executive career, Scott couldn’t suppress a bubbling idea that had been sparked with frequent visits back to his hometown where his best mate and renowned Australian chef, Tony Kelly, was heading the culinary operation of a five-star resort.

Scott’s appreciation of quality food coupled with an innate business acumen became a recipe for success when he traded corporate life for the chance to partner with Tony Kelly to open a humble burger joint in Maroochydore, not 20 minutes from where the pair grew up playing footy together. What began as a shared venture to be their own bosses quickly grew into a steadfast passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences in unique environments Australia-wide.

With no formal training, Scott, with Tony, has turned a transparent business philosophy and work ethic into a multimillion dollar empire with continued growth in the immediate future. Through smart investments and a commitment to developing talented teams, Scott has cemented his reputation as a business trailblazer and a respected hospitality leader to employees and franchisees alike.
